Felipe Rezende
I work mainly with drawing, painting and their expansive possibilities, tracing an encounter with everyday life and the elements contained in it. My research focuses on the universe of manual labour through relationships with its agents, stories, tools and places. From experiences, wanderings and the materialities arising from these contacts, I construct arrangements that inhabit the interstices between the surreal and testimony, fiction and reality.

His work has been acquired by the Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, Brazil. Previous exhibitions include group shows at the Museu Nacional da Cultura Afro Brasileira, Salvador and Centro Cultural Brasil-Mexico, Mexico City.
